Party in the Park is Zionsville's free end-of-school-year celebration, held annually on the last day of school at Mulberry Fields Park. Hosted by Zionsville Parks and Recreation along with the Zionsville Nature Center and the Town of Zionsville, the event marks the kickoff to summer for local families with three hours of activities, food, and play.
What's planned for 2026
The afternoon includes:
- Splash pad opening for the season at Mulberry Fields
- Live DJ entertainment by DJ Sound Solutions
- Face painting by Indy Face Paint
- Touch-a-Truck with vehicles from the Zionsville Police Department, Zionsville Fire Department, Zionsville Public Works, and Sheldy Materials
- Special guest appearance and autograph area with Indy 500 Festival Princess Melanie Gutierrez
- Zionsville Nature Center table with hands-on activities
- Park and PLAY interactive play zone with games and activities
- Community partner booths from Godley Family Orthodontics, Zionsville Parks Foundation, Zionsville Mathnasium, Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, Zionsville United Methodist Church, Uncle Bill's Pet Center, Magical Moments ABA, and the Zionsville Mom's Group

Admission: Free
Parking: Mulberry Fields Park has its own parking lot. Overflow parking is available at neighboring Zionsville Middle School after school pickup hours only, which typically clears after 4:10 PM (school dismissal is at 3:45 PM, when the lot is extremely busy). Overflow parking is also available in the church parking lot north of Mulberry Fields Park, across Whitestown Parkway.
Bring swimsuits, towels, and a change of clothes for kids who want to use the splash pad. Sunscreen and water bottles are recommended. Food trucks operate independently, so bring cash or cards if you plan to eat there.

After the event
Amore Pizzeria in Boone Village is a sit-down pizza option. For ice cream, The Scoop on Main Street is open into the evening, and Fundaes on Whitestown Parkway is another option close to Mulberry Fields. Greek's Pizzeria and Zionsville Pizzeria are additional dinner options on Main Street.
