Christmas in Zionsville runs from late November through Christmas Eve. The season takes in the Chamber of Commerce’s downtown Christmas in the Village program along with holiday concerts and two productions of The Nutcracker at the STAR Bank Performing Arts Center, a seasonal art market at SullivanMunce Cultural Center, and Christmas events hosted by local churches.

Christmas in the Village
The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas in the Village program begins Thanksgiving weekend and continues through Christmas Eve, with events along Main Street and the surrounding Village streets.
Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting

The annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting marks the official opening weekend of the Christmas in the Village season. The parade travels along Main Street before concluding with the traditional lighting of the town tree.

Selfies with Santa
Sunday, November 29; Saturdays and Sundays, December 5–6, 12–13, 19–20 · 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Santa and Mrs. Claus return to the Santa House at the corner of Cedar and Main Streets on seven dates during the season. Families take their own photos using a phone or camera, with Chamber volunteers available to help.

Zionsville Showchoir Holiday Home Tour

Presented by Zionsville Show Choirs and historically known as Carol of Homes, the tour has traditionally featured festively decorated private residences with Zionsville Community High School show choir students performing holiday solos and small-group arrangements inside.
Main Street Zionsville includes the tour on its 2026 Christmas in the Village schedule. As of late September, ticket information and other tour details had not been released.
Tri Kappa Santa Breakfast

Winterfest Open-Air Maker’s Market

Main Street Zionsville lists this as the Zionsville Parks Winter Market on the 2026 Christmas in the Village schedule. Zionsville Parks & Recreation calls it the Open-Air Maker’s Market and runs it as part of Winterfest, its winter season program. The market takes place on Zionsville’s brick Main Street, with local makers and artists, food trucks, seasonal music, and carolers.

Ladies Night

Ladies Night is an evening shopping and dining event hosted by the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce as part of Christmas in the Village. Participating businesses offer Ladies Night specials, and visitors can stop at Downtown Zionsville restaurants for an appetizer, dinner, or dessert.

Zionsville Community High School’s performing arts groups have three holiday concerts scheduled:

David Ackerman Christmas Concert

The David Ackerman Christmas Concert brings a full ensemble of musicians and vocalists to Zionsville Presbyterian Church for an evening of traditional Christmas music and contemporary holiday selections. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Zionsville Food Pantry.

An Afternoon with Santa
Sunday, December 13, 2026 · Noon–4:00 p.m. · The Red Barn at Traders Point Creamery, 9101 Moore Road
Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center, a local nonprofit that provides equine-assisted therapies and activities for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, hosts An Afternoon with Santa at Traders Point Creamery. Morning Dove has served the Central Indiana community since 1998.
The afternoon includes visits with Santa, cookie and ornament decorating, face painting, a hot chocolate bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.
Tickets are $20 through October 31, $25 after October 31, and $30 at the door. Children ages 3 and younger are free. Entry is offered in hourly time slots, and tickets are limited. All ticket sales support the care and work of Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center.
Church Christmas Events
Several Zionsville churches host Christmas programs open to visitors beyond their own congregations. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day service times are tracked separately.
Women’s Christmas Tea

Zionsville Fellowship Church’s annual Women’s Christmas Tea is open to women and girls ages 12 and older. The gathering includes brunch, Christmas hymns and personal stories centered on the Christian meaning of Christmas, and attendees are encouraged to invite family members, neighbors and coworkers. The Bethlehem Beat (Children’s Musical)

Children in kindergarten through sixth grade at Zionsville United Methodist Church present The Bethlehem Beat, a lively musical retelling of the Nativity story. The production features a spunky young Mary and her lovable donkey, Yipyip, mamboing through Bethlehem, along with rapping shepherds and other characters who bring a playful twist to the familiar Christmas story.
The performance is free and open to the public.
Back to Bethlehem (Walk-Through Christmas Story)
Sunday, December 13, 2026 · 5:30–8:30 p.m. · Zionsville Presbyterian Church, 4775 W. 116th St.
Back to Bethlehem is a walk-through presentation of the Christmas story, with six theatrical and interactive scenes followed by a Bethlehem Marketplace with activities and refreshments.
The 30-minute tour uses timed entry, and guests are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled time. Admission is $5 per person, with a maximum of $20 per family.

Parking for Downtown Christmas Events
On most days, free public parking is available in lots at the northwest corner of Main Street and Sycamore Street and the southwest corner of Main Street and Pine Street. Additional parking is available along nearby streets and in public lots throughout the Village. See the downtown parking section for details.
Main Street closes to vehicles during the Holiday Parade on November 28. Parking near the parade route fills quickly, so plan to arrive early if you want to park nearby.
The STAR Bank Performing Arts Center and area churches are outside the Main Street event area and offer on-site parking. SullivanMunce Cultural Center is also outside the Main Street event area, with street parking nearby.
