The Zionsville Fourth of July Celebration is one of the town’s largest annual traditions. It centers on a community atmosphere, with families gathering on the park’s green spaces with blankets and lawn chairs. Leading up to the fireworks, local food vendors and live musical performances at the park’s gazebo create a festival atmosphere throughout the afternoon and evening.
After sunset, the celebration culminates in a professionally choreographed fireworks display launched from within the park. The display is the primary attraction, visible from the park and surrounding Village neighborhoods. It serves as a major annual gathering for the town, bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate the summer holiday.
What to expect
Lions Park hosts the main festivities, with food vendors and bounce houses creating a relaxed, picnic-style atmosphere. Attendees typically spend the afternoon visiting food booths and listening to live music before the fireworks begin at dusk.
