Zionsville 4th of July Celebration
Lions Park, Zionsville
© ZionsvilleIndiana.com
The Zionsville 4th of July Celebration is one of the town's largest annual gatherings, held every Independence Day at Lions Park and hosted by the Zionsville Lions Club. Families spread out on the park's ball fields and green spaces with chairs and blankets for an afternoon and evening of food, music, and a fireworks finale at 10 PM.
This year is bigger. Coinciding with the road to America's 250th anniversary in 2026, the Lions Club has commissioned the Mad Bomber team to deliver the largest fireworks display in the event's history.
What's planned for 2026
The celebration runs from late afternoon through the fireworks finale:
- 4:00 PM — On-site parking opens ($8.00 per vehicle, cash only)
- 5:00 PM — DJ music begins in the gazebo
- 5:00 PM — Kids' Corner with Celebration Central bounce houses opens
- 5:00 PM — Festival food: pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, elephant ears, ice cream, popcorn
- 7:00 PM — Presentation of Colors and the National Anthem
- 9:50 PM — Announcement of the 4th of July raffle winner
- 10:00 PM — Fireworks display (largest ever at this event)

Free public lots are located at the northwest corner of Main Street and Sycamore Rd. (south of The Friendly Tavern), with access from both Main Street and First Street, and at the southwest corner of Main Street and Pine Street. Additional free parking is available along nearby streets and in public lots throughout the Village.
Hosts
The event is hosted by the Zionsville Lions Club in conjunction with the Town of Zionsville and the support of the Partners in the Park sponsors.
