80s Night brings the music, fashion, and pop culture of the 1980s to downtown Zionsville. Main Street shops and restaurants participate in the themed evening, with visitors encouraged to dress for the decade while exploring the shops, restaurants and activities along Main Street.

What to expect
Participating shops and restaurants will put their own spin on the 1980s theme, with activities and promotions throughout the evening. Visitors can explore Main Street, stop into participating businesses, have dinner or drinks, and take part in activities along the way.
Each participating business will also have an ’80s cassette tape-inspired gift bag to give away to one lucky participant. Each bag will be filled with a selection of shop products, coupons and other fun items chosen by that business. That might mean candles from Fivethirty Home, a bottle of olive oil from Zionsville Olive Oil, a Zionsville coloring book or other goodies.
The Pigeons of Market Square will perform from 6:00–8:00 PM on the COhatch porch at 75 N Main St, with an ’80s-themed set for the event. The local cover band plays music from artists including the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Motown acts and Tom Petty.
At 7:00 PM, Rush on Main will host ’80s Night Trivia with Indy’s Live Trivia. Teams can test their knowledge of 1980s movies, music, television and pop culture. Rush recommends arriving early to get a table and will offer $5 drafts during the event.
At 8:00 PM, The Janeways will perform at Zionsville Public House, a short drive from Main Street. The Zionsville-based band plays ’80s and ’90s rock and pop.
Dress for the decade
Costumes are not required, but visitors are encouraged to join the theme. Neon colors, denim, leg warmers, tracksuits, oversized jackets, popped collars and other 1980s-inspired styles all fit the occasion.
